In no particular order.
Indiana, Miami, LSU, Oregon probably, and Texas Tech. Tennessee maybe.
Great that Indiana has ascended to the top tier and possibly the top destination.
Quite a geographically diverse group. I don't believe being the top QB in the ACC or Big 12 carries much lesser clout than the Big 10 or SEC, so no big advantage there.
Heard a possible compelling argument for Leavitt to Oregon, because he's a West Coast kid I guess.
Obviously the perfect world is Alberto has developed enough to be a top 20 QB as a redshirt soph. So we roll with him as QB1 and just add experienced portal depth at the position.
The absolute biggest risk and doomsday scenario with Alberto is if he isn't 100% bought into a possible another season as a backup, and he and his best friend and roommate, Charlie Becker, decide to portal out together as a package deal.
While I wouldn't be shocked if Alberto left should he be recruited/portaled over, I would be shocked if he left as a package deal with Becker. They might both leave but would think the chances of them going to the same place would be slim in the NIL era. Their best deals probably wouldn't come from the same school
It tough to know what's going on behind the scenes. Fortunately we have a great staff that can manage the roster.
