Saw that On3 is predicting Purcell to IU (don’t subscribe just figured it out with Google). One, how much confidence do we have in the prediction? Two, just how big for IU would this be if true?
IU is looking to have a QB in every class and Purcell is high on IU with a lot of connections to the school as well. 2027 is a ways off, but the recruiting calendar keeps changing so who knows on the timing.
Several of his family members are alumni of IU. They're big IU people.
If we can pull in Purcell, that would be a HUGE start to the 27 class. He's got several SEC, Big 10 and ACC offers from the who's who of college football. He'd be a great pull for us.
OMG...this would be spectacular, no question.
BEAT PURDUE
Hope so. QBs can trust this staff with their future.
Nice to have a 4* interested in The New Indiana. He would be a good get for sure. Let's Go Hoosiers
Purcell's parents and some other family members went to Indiana.

Family connections can't hurt, but I doubt they help as much as many hope or believe. If this was the old Indiana, I doubt it would make a difference. With the NEW Indiana, we're going to get consideration from kids who wouldn't look in our direction before; family connections probably provide a nudge.
Truer words never spoken....but as you said, it can't hurt.

Let's work to get Jameson to commit to Coach Cignetti et al. He's already smooth, accurate & has a "snap" delivery.
I will be talking with Jameson next week (later in the week) about IU

Tell him I'll get him the employee discount on car parts if he comes here.
Confident if Mendoza looks Rourke-Ish efficiency wise this year with more mobility at his disposal, Cig will have plenty of QB talent interested in IU. He'll be the new QB guy who actually also played the position. I predict getting an IU QB offer will be a big deal after this year. Hope so anyway. Go Hoosiers!
