Hearing rumors that he injured his knee in the post game celebration. This better not be true.
I'm hearing the same thing. Supposedly it was on other IU boards. Doesn't sound good.
you have got to be kidding me. hopefully minor.
IU has not announced anything, we (reporters) are not allowed to talk about injuries unless IU says something about it. We do not get to talk to Cig again until Dec. 22nd.
Thanks Sammy. Until then all we can do is hope.
Unbelievable if true.
Good thing we already locked down a banner and undefeated big ten season.
It might have happened on the last play. If you watch the post field celebration after the last play l, he went down on one knee. It looked like he was praying.
But that would seem to fly against the notion that Cignetti said nothing that happened in the game will impact anyone's availability, right? I mean, I guess if it was during the celebration we could be technical and say that wouldn't have happened "in the game". Or are we thinking he wasn't aware of it? Or, is the injury not bad enough to impact the next game. So many questions....
I was about to say the same thing and was thinking this was some sort of April Fool’s joke. I mean if that’s true it’s a very odd circumstance to get injured and you would think Cig would know about it by the press conference in which he made that statement. But that would seem to fly against the notion that Cignetti said nothing that happened in the game will impact anyone's availability, right? So…do they move to a different schematic? Move Kamara back to traditional edge? What will they do?

This would be awful, for many reasons.

Not wanting to come off as too sleuth-like, but is your carefully worded post an indication that he is indeed injured?
If he wasn’t, you could have just said so, right?
@cg-paul I can't comment either way, especially on unconfirmed information.
Cig has proven he’s very capable of keeping (potential) news of this sort from getting out.
However, the 22nd is a long time and he won’t comment unless asked about it (usually). But, these guys still go to classes, right? Plenty of students will see him on campus. Would imagine someone would say/post something about it. Like how we hear about a basketball player being in a walking boot.
