head to toe Hoosier gear? It’s basically all I’ve worn since Christmas. I might get tired of it at some point, but then again, I keep buying all the new merch.
When they're no longer National Champs is my timeline.
I just got back to my winter home in Gulf Shores from Florida. I have worn it out everyday in Florida and on the way back, and have never missed getting at least 3 or 4 comments and/or congratulations. Wore it to the golf course a couple times in Florida. The bag boys came to talk to me, guys came up on the practice green, even the club pro said something. I will not take it off until the comments stop!
maybe not head to toe but
i rep hoosier gear all year long
It's amazing how many strangers have congratulated me during the championship run--and continue to do so--and I don't even live in Indiana. It's like the entire country (sans Southeast Florida) united in fandom to take down the big boys of college football. But...
...don't get used to this, folks. People love the hunter, not the hunted. IU is no longer a fun story; they're a CFB powerhouse. Heavy is the head that wears the crown.
I was born wearing cream and crimson and will probably be buried 6ft under in IU gear! So, never!
Never stop.
I wear "general" and football IU apparel, but my hoops gear is collecting dust.
Wearing my gear everywhere, every day here in south Florida. Constant positive comments. Constant reminders of how this team even captured the hearts of people who aren't even diehard football fans. Had a conversation in a local park with two 80-something grannies who went on and on about how thrilled they were.
