Indiana’s opponents have given up the most points all season (56 and 55) and have scored the least points all season (6 and 10).

The one good thing the past two weeks is being able to get some of the backups in for some snaps to hep develop more depth and experience.  Especially with some injuries starting to creep in to the lineup.

So nice to see the depth come in and really look like they know what they are doing. Play well, as a team.

Under Coach Allen I remember some DBs who were good recruits, suddenly forced in, and look like their given name was Toast. Or Whiff.

Dont see that now. Ours guys fight their way onto the field they are hungry to make plays.

With mostly backups, we obliterated a team that went to the wire with multiple of the 2nd tier B1G teams (Washington, Nebraska).

Today was the most impressive win of Cigs tenure IMO

Right now IU is the best team in the country.

@walt542 Illinois and Nebraska at home, and we were healthy for those games (outside of Rourke getting hurt in Nebraska, but Jackson also played his best game at IU filling in)

Oregon was the best team we have beaten

but to annihilate Maryland with as many injuries and players out as we did today is just next level. Compared to the Oregon game, we were down a DE and 2 LBs, 2 WRs, and our best interior OL

Beating tough teams at their place is way more next level than running away from a below average team.

Iowa was more next level than this game. Oregon very much so. Illinois although at home was too.

Nebraska last year was about a tie , but probably lean Nebraska. Beating Michigan was more important.

This was just a very sweet and yes impressive beatdown showcasing that Maryland while a bit of a former sports school (former meaning it was much cheaper to cheat pre Nil than play honestly in the NIL era), has been dumb to keep Locksley. And we have developed some depth!

@bbh42 It makes the blowouts fun to watch when we can see some of the young guys doing well.
