I heard yesterday on a major network a commentator pregame that our team is experienced, "Average age is 23, 24, 25 years old. If I remember right".
So STUPID. We kept getting older and older. Pick up some random idiot's post and keep repeating it while making it even dumber. And nobody on the networks were calling it out.

He picked against IU every single game this year. Against a former assistant.
I think Saban is still miffed that Cig wasn't cool with just being his RC forever and left for a crap job at Elon instead of being his water boy.

Maybe just my perception. i don't see a lot of love lost even while Cig repeats that he learned more in a year under Saban than anywhere.
Google tells me Saban picked us to beat Oregon in the Peach. I had heard differently. He has picked against us quite a few games though. How's that working out for you Nick?

@surjay I also think Nick doesn’t like the level of praise Cig gets. Nick is petty, and the shit he pulled with Lane (using the Game Day platform to say he should be able coach the playoff while secretly advising him to go to LSU) was very poor form.

Saban absolutely speaks of IU & Cig less glowingly than his other assistants & their teams. There are compliments because there have to be, but seems to be some kind of rub there. Didn’t notice it quite as much last year, when Saban even cracked about not teaching Cig to talk shit like he did. Maybe Saban’s hug ego not liking some of the ‘greatest coaching job, best coach, no one else could have done this’, or he just may not like Cig, who seems like he may not be the most likable guy…
