They were great throughout the season and playoffs. This was great.

I saw a lot of people give that feedback. That was awesome to hear in that environment. That and our first down chant, during the national title game. Im so over the same Bama, Georgia, OSU...etc music. The marching 100 did a great job representing IU.
Also the difference in the quality of our band vs. Miami's was comical.
But yes, hearing our band in these big games outside Memorial Stadium was such a joy. I got emotional few times.
Marching Hundred has taken a lot of guff over the years.
This season they looked and sounded great. And elevated those bowl games.
Great job hundred! Way to represent.

Kinda been a marching band hater since waaay back in my coaching days when the HS band director was lining up his troops in the back of our end zone just before halftime of a real tight ballgame. Dude blew his whistle just before a play. Our guys stood up, their guys virtually walked into the end zone because they figured it was blown dead too. That TD ended up costing us the game.
All that said, the Hoosier Hundred was awesome every step along the way. Those kids deserve major kudos. We have great people guiding great people right now.
