The man was out there after the game still looking for his jock.My god... the Oregon defender had absolutely no chance.
,
USA Today article asked if the last person out of Indiana had remembered to turn off the lights.Just got back home from the game. Great time. Loved seeing all the IU fans.
Yeah, sorta sloppy... Maybe we can tighten things up and lay 70 on them in the 2nd half...😉😎
Seriously though, they're still dangerous Offensively... I want us to keep running things up until it's Completely out of reach (besides that's a p u Safety over there on the back end 😎)...
Yep!
Wondering how many times IU has beaten Thieneman's ass in his career...twice this year with the Quacks...how many with the Boils..?
Wow. Nothing but respect to Oregon for doing this. This is awesome to see.

Feel free to point me to a thread if this has been talked about, but the cameras were on the Mendoza family with about 8 minutes to go. Did they not look visibly upset that Fernando was going back in. Maybe they didn’t want Fernando to take any more shots or maybe they wanted Alberto to play. Either way they kinda looked pissed.
I think you misread this. They didn’t look upset in any way, and the way we played FM is exactly how we’ve done it all year. Live reps are a premium commodity and Cig and staff value them highly.

All I saw was the hot chick sitting with FM's parents. I see today it's his aunt -- presumably Elsa's sister.

Actually it looked to me, at the very least, the Mendozas were surprised Fernando went back in but I also thought they looked a little disappointed. Understandably so.
I mean Fernando went in to hand the ball off, so its not something Alberto hasn't managed to do well in practice.
Also, at that point in the game, I mean what if an Oregon guy comes crashing through and hits him "just right". We've seen a guy get hurt jumping funny after a game to celebrate - so no need to take any chances (no matter how small) with the biggest prize still in front of them.
And then yeah, I'm sure they loved seeing both their sons get time in the Rose Bowl and would have liked to see that last night. Presumably we all would like to see that in Miami next week.
IU can’t afford a drop off next season and Josh Hoover gives them the best chance to sustain success.
Alberto still has 3 years of eligibility left and if he is patient will have 1-2 years available to lead our offense depending on if he does well enough to forego his final season which is more than enough to build up his draft stock. Even though he may develop faster as a starter he is still getting great coaching and will come out much more polished with more time to develop. It’s a good thing for both sides. I’d expect Purcell to take the same trajectory under Alberto. If these guys want to start early as a QB they have to go down a level and transfer back up after a year or two as a starter. I don’t foresee Cig starting any QB early in their career. As long as Alberto is getting taken care of financially I see no reason for him to be bitter. He’s in a very lucrative position under this staff.

It’s very much the Nick Saban way, and Cig learned that, among other things, quite well. It’s about live reps. It’s one of the things that’s been whispered for years in the NFL about Saban’s Bama guys - that he rode them too hard for too long during the season, especially in blowout games. It rarely mattered then because there wasn’t a portal, so kids knew they had to wait, but that’s how he and Cig choose to do it.
When the IU Football Bible is written, it will be in two sections: BC and AC.
No need to elaborate. We all know.
