My default is usually to cheer against the SEC team. But Ole Miss doesn't seem as entitled / braggy as Ga, Ala, Tenn, Fla, Texas, Ok, etc.
The Kiffin story line is intriguing. It also gives me pause that Miami winning would give them a chance to win a championship AT HOME.
So I think I am slightly pulling for Ole Miss, but I expect Miami to win based on their dominant line play vs. OSU.

Yes. It is distinctive where the block I was not.I wanted Ole Miss, thought they might be a little easier to beat, plus Miami will have more fans in the stadium.
But don't care. Beating Oregon is a tough task. If we do that, we are all happy.
As an old 'block-I-change-of-pace' guy from way back. I am glad Indiana has settled on the trident. (Or whatever it is called.)
This, is so beautiful! -
Will look even sweeter once we are right above that U .
Ole Miss would have definitely been easier. Their defense is trash, but their offense with Chambliss is really good. Miami’s defense is significantly better than Ole Miss and if Ole Miss didn’t have such a good offense that game wouldn’t have been close. I had a strong feeling Miami would score. There was too much time on the clock anfter that final drive and their defense had been breaking all night. Miami was only stopping themselves. So, their defense is the only part of their team that worries me. I have respect for Malachi Toney, but their offense just doesn’t concern me much against our D. If Bain or Mesidor are able to molest our RT and put constant pressure on Mendoza that’s the only concern I have. We really need to get the run game going early. You could tell Miami’s defense was a little gassed by the 4th quarter and wasn’t able to get pressure to Chambliss as quickly.
We're obviously better that both Miami and Ole Miss. I think after watching the game last night, I'm a little bummed that Ole Miss didn't pull it out. Miami, by way of their front 7 on defense, and their OLine and run game, could muck the game up, and make it a low scoring slug fest... and steal something at the end against us. I don't think there would have been anything Ole Miss could have done to stop us from putting up 40+ on them. And IUs defense, Chambliss or not, isn't allowing 40 points to anyone in a natty game.
I still think if we beat Oregon tonight, we'll beat Miami. But it'll be a much more difficult challenge, than Ole Miss was. At this point though, I almost want that. If you're writing a fairy tale, make it as unbelievable as possible. Beat OSU. Beat Bama's ass in to the ground, at the Rose Bowl. Beat Phil Knight U in the Peach Bowl. And then pull out the belt and whip Irvin's ass, in their own stadium, for a Natty. Couldn't dream it up, would love to live it out though!
