My default is usually to cheer against the SEC team. But Ole Miss doesn't seem as entitled / braggy as Ga, Ala, Tenn, Fla, Texas, Ok, etc.
The Kiffin story line is intriguing. It also gives me pause that Miami winning would give them a chance to win a championship AT HOME.
So I think I am slightly pulling for Ole Miss, but I expect Miami to win based on their dominant line play vs. OSU.

Ole Miss but I think Miami will win. I'd love for Ole Miss to make it to the NC game and show Kiffin that might have been his best shot at a NC. Then I hope LSU get's fines or NCAA violations or something for tampering with Kiffin.

Unlike the NFL, there aren’t tampering rules for coaches in the NCAA. Everyone is fair game.
I'll echo what's already been said in the thread. I'd rather play Mississippi in Miami than Miami in Miami, but I think Miami is going to win tonight.
Miami and Miami. Chambliss scares me.
I tried to decide which one I wanted, wavered back and forth. Lean toward Ole Miss .
But the game ahead of us is so tough, if Indiana beats Oregon, wow, I won't give a rats rear who the opponent is.
So, I did care, now I don't.
Just a big, big game on Friday.
Hoosiers!
doesn't matter to me, whoever wins is going to be a good team at this stage. Personally, for me in this season of firsts, I'd rather play Miami. I believe in this team 100% and I want to play the best. Way more swag to beating Miami in Miami with Michael Ervin and Ray Lewis on the sidelines. Besides, we're not scared of a team that got beat by Louisville and SMU are we?
Ole Miss QB reminds me a bit of Byron Leftwich, but anyway, I think Miami will win.
I think Miami probably wins. I think Oregon is probably markedly better than either Ole Miss or Miami. So if we win tomorrow night, and come out of the game healthy, we're better than either Miami or Ole Miss. But Miami's defensive front scares me more than Ole Miss. Chambliss scares me more than Miami's offense does. But I think over the entire course of a game, we'd be able to get to Chambliss enough, and get enough stops, that we'd end up pulling away from them. Miami, I think could make for an Iowa/PSU/OSU type game, because of how good their defensive front is.
So... first things first... beat the likely 2nd best team in the country tomorrow night, and then get ready for a lesser opponent.
In the end... this entire thing has been so crazy and surreal. Bring on Miami. Beating OSU, Alabama, Oregon, then Miami, to win a national title... might as well just hope that for that path. Its the most impossibly incredible story.

Glad Irvin and Lewis aren’t eligible for them, but they’re also the team that took out A&M at Kyle Field and Ohio State in a convincing, Big Ten style drive late. If we win tomorrow and play them in their stadium, they’ll be plenty tough.
Could make an argument for either side.
Guess I'm rooting for a super physical game where both teams get banged up.
IU gains more street cred in those fertile Florida recruiting grounds beating Miami though.
Ole Miss, Misery, Miss. St., and Arkansas is sort of the inflamed hemorrhoid geographically of the SEC.
There's just not much southern or national football respect to be gained beating one of those teams.
Rooting for Ole Miss but will be pleasantly surprised if Miami doesn't win.
...Maybe.

I think national champion will be enough street cred in any area.
Agree about the other teams being banged up. (As long as no long term injuries.) Hope we win and hope if we win we are healthy.
I keep going back and forth as well. Like the matchup with Ole Miss better but Chambliss looked pretty damn good against Georgia. Has he been that good all year?
I want Miami.
