@kkott -Coach Cig will probably make him wear the helmet to bed for a wk.
The player that bloodied Fernando’s mouth should have been tossed for that hit. That was textbook lead with the crown of the helmet targeting.
It’s mystifying that they somehow missed that.
I lost my mind when Landino got called for his late hit, considering what they had let slide all game.
The call on Landino was the right one but there were several hits on Mendoza that weren’t called earlier (in addition to the helmet hit, which you couldn’t see in the stadium).
It was the inconsistency that had me hot.
If you call Landino, they should have called the targeting on Nando, which was way more aggressive a hit, IMO.
@jackskip23 The video board replay dude was clearly a Miami employee. VERY selective what he showed all during the game.
It was the inconsistency that had me hot.Yeah, but see, Landinos was on the biggest drive of the game.

So not the same thing. 🤐
@kkott Tucker just lost his mom and only parent last year to cancer. It doesn’t make sense
Agree on all of the other complaints, but the unsportsmanlike penalty was for taking his helmet off, and is 100% automatic. Can't do that, ever.
He's from Miami, isn't he? I think he was playing to the home town crowd.

The Fernando hit should’ve been called, period. I couldn’t disagree on the Landino one, but the Mendoza hit was awful.

The Mendoza hit was never shown. Learned about it from friends watching the broadcast. Nothing shown in the stadium.
@zeke4ahs No, but neither does a guy I've seen be a really good guy, is from all reports and was also so patient and cool to Fernando going after Tucker. I've said all along I'm not going to believe Miami's coaches explanation, and no one outside of those 2 really know. Probably just a heat of the moment thing and a misinterpretation of something said.
@unclemark play the same on play 1 - 150, play to to standard, etc.... Maybe that was play 151!
Cig wasn't happy about the penalty, that's for sure. Listen to the last few seconds! Even gives Sharpe a little shove. I love it, the standard is the standard.

How do you know? That could have been his happy face? jj

I think its safe to say the refs must've taken Miami to cover, because they were doing everything they could to give them an advantage. If the calls had been made that should have, we would have won by 30+

We certainly would have covered, it seems. I'll take the beat though in exchange for that trophy.
