I am going to move all of the NFL Draft talk into one place.Rounds 4-7 today.
The Jets. Ugh.
They’ll get a good quarterback in the 2027 draft.
- @gthomas he should be up for the challenge. He committed to Indiana with all of our faults. We can only hope he has the same success with the Jets. I must say I was disappointed when Pittsburgh didn’t take him. That would have been a nice welcome in front of all of the Steeler fans.
First round! Can't complain.
He would've gotten big cheers if the Steelers picked him, by Pennsylvania people remembering The Catch and Pitt fans enjoying that it beat Penn State.
I was glad he went in the first round but yeah the Jets stink. He can still make a name for himself though and either get a great 2nd contact with the Jets or another team. The Jets historically destroy QBs. Their history with WRs is not nearly as bad.
I was surprised the Brown took Concepcion over him. By most measurables Coop was the better pick. Imho
I think it's clear the Jets GM is a big upgrade over the previous regime. They no longer look like idiots with their personnel moves. I think Aaron Glenn has a lot of promise as a coach too. Although a defensive guy. Hopefully Coop is getting in on the ground floor. Not sold on Reich completely, he stunk in Indy, but Indy was a mess anyway. They say his offense uses a lot of picks and he likes sturdy guys like Cooper.
Could be worse. No way to know until they get a QB so they are several years away at least. Which is a bit of a bummer for Omar I guess.
,
I was hoping he’d go to Buffalo but they traded back.
Update the title.
Cooper and Ponds to the Jets... hope they can turn that franchise around. Want to see all our guys have success in the league!
Dang it!
Can't fault the Jets' strategy: Draft well-coached champions.
Love seeing Chris effn Ballard pass on IU players!🤬
