That one stings, but I didn’t even know who the guy was a week ago. I think Henry Ohlinger is going to be a starter by mid season anyways.
Doubt this was money. Any P4 school can be competitive for a LB they like.
@olympian97 The general consensus concerning the freshman linebackers is that Ja'Dyn Williams is man to watch for 2026 playing time so that's an interesting opinion. I mean that in a good way and it makes me curious what you know/think about Ohlinger's game and how it translates for immediate snaps.
@tjinman1987 Hey TJ. I don’t know anything concrete. Just a hunch based on his athleticism and film, but I could certainly be wrong. Even if it’s Ja’Dyn I expect someone in that class will flash by midseason similar to Rolijah Hardy in 2024. I’m still hoping for at least 1 strong LB commit though.
@olympian97 I suspect you are right...all three of them have the potential to be difference-makers eventually. Given the reticence to rely on young players/freshmen, I'd be very surprised if the coaching staff stood pat at linebacker.

I think they're gonna go after one more as well, as long as it's someone they feel like can contribute.
@olympian97 Im good with our LB corp. Turner and Utzinger looked good in limited snaps. And then we have 2 blue chip LBs coming in this class who OSU wanted badly.

Clark got moved to d-line last spring.
I'd guess our visitors this weekend were impressed with last night.
I would have to think so. We definitely have a lot going in our favor. Now just need to get the guys who can maintain our program.
