Harbaugh has a 10 year show cause. Given that he likely has his last coaching job currently, this is a little like telling one of you married guys that you can't go back and marry your college girlfriend.
He was rude to them Can't have that!

We all know if IU did this they would give us the SMU style death penalty. NCAA is a joke. The big boys get treated with kid gloves.
No way the NCAA was going to put the hammer down on them,Michigan is one of their biggest cash cows.
i find it hilarious that the OSU fans are throwing a fit,if guilty of the exact same infractions they would’ve gotten the same treatment.
IU or say Northwestern on the other hand….
And we turned ourselves in. Why ... still haven't recovered
@mouora23 Outside of a timely punishment (unrealistic). A postseason ban. Yes the fine is a big one, but maybe even a hard reduction in Revenue sharing money for the next couple years.
This was a nothing burger punishment 18 months too late. Oh well. Time to move on.
If you win a national title but no one views it as legitimate, did you really win one?

Would I trade Cignetti moving to the NFL and Indiana paying a $20 million fine for the Hoosiers to win a national championship?
Hell yes I would!

Michigan is the only school that has gotten off this easy. OSU got in a lot of trouble because of "tattoo gate" a decade ago, they had their losingest season in school history in 2011, and in 2012 had to sit out the national title game
The NCAA said Michigan warranted a 2 year post-season ban, avoiding that and getting to keep their coach + no scholarship reductions is well worth the money for a school as rich as UM
Sounds like a big fine, an extra game suspension for Moore (served in 2026) long show cause penalties for Harbaugh and Stallions...Almost seems like a nothing burger.
Whoever the equivalent to Cleveland State in football is better watch out.
