I've never heard the lady(s) involved comment on that.@spartans9312 Do you know why he was fired from that job? It wasn’t because of his performance.

LSU is trying to play dirty.
They could be shooting themselves in the foot with this kind of stuff. No established coach will go there if they are known to pull this kind of thing, IMO.
@boogie Agree.
Also, an attorney who does a lot with buyouts made the point that making the “for cause” reason public gives BK an argument as to why he can’t get another job that would offset the buyout.
Really doesn’t seem like LSU is thinking anything through.
Love him or hate him, LSU fired him because he lost games. They wrote up the contract. Pay the man his $54 million.
This is one thing I have respected Indiana for. Every time we made a coaching change they always made a point of saying we will honor the buyout. However, I don’t know how Woodward fired Kelley without board approval. Anytime I have heard our AD mention a firing they have said they reached out for leadership approval. Either way, that’s not Kelley’s problem that his boss fired him without going through the proper channels. They need to show some integrity and pay him what he’s owed. Even if he is a dirtbag.
