My stepson is getting married that day(I think he did it on that day to spite)
Anyway we got into it about him being disrespectful to his mom and I told him what I thought of him and I didn’t hold back.I have been putting up with BS for ten years and I had enough.
Then he told me the same,so long story short,I’m not going to the wedding and believe it or not my wife is backing me.
I’m sure it will bite me in the ass down the road but that’s ok,all I can say is we better win the damn game😂

I would obviously go to the wedding if he wasn’t so disrespectful to his mom.
if he apologizes to her for the things he said I will most likely still go,but not unless he apologizes.
It will put her in a tough spot if I don’t go but I just can’t take disrespecting your parents

All good. You always seem to be coming from a good place.
Although you certainly arent fishing for advice,....What I will say is if the situation is here solely because you're wanting to do right by momma, I would make sure that in the end, you do whatever momma wants. Whatever result that may be, of course. That would give your position a strong foundation because your actions would match your words.
No matter the case, sorry you're stuck being deep in that drama. It has to be a tough place to be. Good luck!

up until last yr, would probably go to the wedding so I wouldn’t have to watch the game. This yr, I have a grandson who turns 1 on week 2……yes I’m going, but son and daughter in law both graduated from IU so there will be a tv on somewhere
