Feels good that this kind of injury is not a death blow as it has been in past seasons.

Yes, it was against Indiana St., but man, the vision, shiftiness, and changing gears on the runs that Khobe had looked insanely promising.  Hate that this is how he gets his shot, but I think he's gonna do well.

Ouch! I thought he was the best of the three backs honestly. Had the home run speed and always seemed to make a few tacklers miss. Hope he comes back for a couple more years.

@walt542 He has at least one and could probably get a medical hardship

This really sucks, for him mostly, and for the team

@tammany I have a feeling Martin is going to assume that homerun role very nicely.  But losing someone as good as Beebe is never a good thing.

Hemby is our home run guy.

Not saying Martin can't break one, but Hemby has been doing it for several years now, sometimes against our past defenses.

@boogie Hemby to me seems to run into our blockers or a defensive man too often without side stepping or planting a foot to avoid them. That is what Beebee was doing well, avoiding the tackle. I am sure once Hemby breaks free he is hard to catch. We all saw it last year. He just needs to be more mobile in the hole and look for that seam in my opinion.

Beebe was going to be a real weapon. I was upset he was still in the game. But that's water under the bridge.

Still have Roman, Kaleon, Khobie.

A good stable!

That is the difference between IU now vs. the past.  We had one far and away 1st line player and everyone behind that was a downgrade.  We now have a stable of players who can all be great starters.  Hemby has 2,547yds and 22 TDs in his career.  Kaelon Black as 1,773yds and 8 TDs.  We have ample depth of starting level caliber.
