I can’t remember what exactly his injury is? They kind of speculated he could possibly be available in a round about way.I know it’s highly unlikely but it sure would be nice with Daley out.
To the best of my recall they never actually said what the injury was. Just that it was a season ender. Which implies, to me, surgery with a lengthy recovery.

@thehoosierhuddle - I agree. Plus, Cig has the ability to go get another guy just like Wyatt who hasnt been injured. Wyatts injury was brutal because of course hes talented, but we had no way of getting a replacement mid-season. Depth matters.
As IU fans, we always needed any guy with an ounce of experienced talent, to stick around another year because we struggled at replacing talent. I feel like although we clearly love Wyatt in peak condition, we are smarter to invest in someone not coming off a serious injury. As you stated though, its all a moot point since he has no eligibility.
