I also bought my tickets, the best seats wont open up until the 8,000 team allotment tickets are available but we need to turn Lucas Oil into a homefield. Grab all the neutral tickets.
I grabbed a bunch of tickets as well. OSU fans have been to many of these games but they're going to be in for a bit of a shock when they show up to Indy and see the town has been taken over by IU fans.
OSU was quite fortunate the nation looked at last years game as a litmus test for IU and OSU and of course they got to play at home. This year, its at a "neutral" site but we are going to make it feel like a home game. I FULLY expect IU to pour it on due to Ryan Day's fake victory formation TD to end last years game (and Will Howards mocking of Cig). Can't wait!!!! I hope they put posters of those moments all over the facilities for the players to walk into when they get back from West Lafayette.

The combined conference record of our remaining teams is 1-17.
Penn State may still be tough given there is still talent on their roster but 12-0 is looking like a realistic record.
Where are you finding tickets? I checked Ticketmaster and they were sold out. My mom and dad were thinking about going and I was thinking about flying back up there to go with them, but they said they only found tickets in the nosebleeds for like $400. They won’t go unless we can get decent seats.
@hurryinghoosiers Doesn't that seem ridiculous to even type out? How in the wide world of sports did this happen? As a 60-plus year attendee of IU games (I'm 67, started going at about 5 or 6 in the real knothole section in the north endzone), I'm just so thankful I've lived long enough to see this happen. It's still surreal to believe we are going to be 11-1 and 12-0 in back to back seasons.
@bucketgetter I was debating whether to purchase B1G Championship tickets now, or put my money toward a 1st Round CFP home game. But I think IU, even with a loss to OSU, gets a bye. Hence, B1G Championship it is.
@gthomas Yep. Isn't it insane we are about to make the CFP 2 years in a row and NOT get a home game? I honestly think my heart would fail being in the stadium for a real playoff game!
@hoosierdaddy Just heard from my guy in the athletic department regarding B1G Championship tickets. They won't be announcing anything until after the Wisconsin game. Makes me nervous we won't have a chance to buy direct and will be forced to go seconday. Freaking OSU fans will drive prices thru the rarely-open LOS roof!

Maybe. But this is such a 'ho-hum' step for them, that they might not.

I've been monitoring the secondary tickets. The prices aren't bad, and will probably keep dropping as other teams fans discover they aren't making it.
there really isn't any "bad" seats in Lucas Oil. But the upper levels are indeed going for that much. I see a few in the corners for around $250. How does IUs allotment work? Students and season ticket holders first? Or a free for all?

They have only gone up. You were able to get them for $150 just a couple weeks ago and now you are hard pressed to find much under $300. Especially with the bba game downtown, IU fans will show up in force here, combined with OSU fans. I think it just keep climbing.
