dammit...you all can't see my awesome predictions
This is like playing whack a mole
Finally got it to work. Logged out of Wordpress and logged out of the forums. Then came back to the forums still not logged in and clicked on the article. When I did it gave me a blue box to log in next to the subscribe box. I hit the log in box which took me to Wordpress to log in and could then see the article. I then logged back in to Hoosier Huddle and can now post.
i think logging out of both and then initiating the Wordpress log in from the subscriber content article may be the trick to getting in.
@bbh42 I believe that’s what the guide was trying to say. I can re-write it in simpler English
@yothn do not do separate tabs. Log out of both. Hit the article, it’ll ask you to log in. Log in then it’ll take you to the content. Then you can log back into the forum.

I know this is a lot, but it was either delete the forum entirely, rebuilt another one or this.
@thehoosierhuddle I followed your instructions and it worked. Great article and helps build for the excitement for the upcoming year.

Plot twist. I logged out of both. Pulled up this site and it shows me not logged in, clicked on the article, I was able to read it without logging into anything.
No worries either way. Now we have an action plan going forward, I appreciate it!
@thehoosierhuddle How and where do you log into Word Press? I am logged into Hoosier Huddle and cannot find the Word Press Log in. Then again I am technologically challenged.
i find logging out of forums (regular log out button on top right) will allow me to see the sign in button on the article page (appears next to the subscribe button) and allows me to login with paid account

When i am logged in to paid wordpress account, I don't see any indication of being logged in or an option to logout.
The login/logout on the forums and the login/logout on the top/right menu both seem to be attached to the forum account.
As another said, log out of the Forum, then click on the article and the blue box to log in should appear next to the blue subscribe button. Being logged out of the HH forum is the way I've been able to get the Wordpress login box to appear. Once you login then you can log back into the HH forums.
@hurryinghoosiers if you go to WordPress in the upper right I had to hover the mouse over my user name and it brought up a menu with account options and one of the options was to log out. That is where I logged out of WordPress. Then I came back to the HH site and when I went to the article, then I was able to get the Log In box to appear which when you hit that blue box log in, should take you back to WordPress to log in using your WordPress log in user and password. The Log Out on the HH site is only for the HH forums. To log out of WordPress you have to go straight to the WordPress site and log out there.
You guys are making my head spin🤓
I had to do the 'log out-get wordpress link' thing too.
But I was able to read the articles now. Good content.
