What do the defensive players do on Pro Day?
@zeke4ahs agility drills and some other ball skill drills. We couldn't see them, and it was the same time as interviews with offensive players
@kelly_32 I've said all along if I were the Raiders, I'd first put all the resources I could into improving the offensive line to protect him, but I'd grade all the IU skill players a little higher hoping to nab one of them when it made sense and give Fernando someone he already has chemistry with. Not to mention the IU guys are all quality individuals and good in the locker room. I think it's possible you could get Sarratt a round earlier than he's graded at and it would be a great add, and the guy I'm really thinking about is taking Nowakowski with a late pick. Might be undersized for an NFL TE, but dude has heart and I think would make a great FB and special teams guy. Black and Hemby too. You are investing so much in that #1 pick, you want to do all you can to insure he's successful.

Apparently the Raiders signed Cousins to take the first few starts so they can ease FM in and not throw him to the wolves right out of the gate.
I'm high on and thinking EJ Williams is a sure fire performer in the NFL. Has good size, very good speed, hands and showed playmaking in clutch situations. I don't know his vertical and the only shadow in his past has been on the injury side that hurt him in being a favored target. Think some franchise really elevates their offense drafting him. Great value pick.
@hoosier-clarion See my above post about a receiver who might have more value to the Raiders than other teams because of the built in chemistry with Fernando.
@unclemark Think there's nothing smarter than pairing a high QB draft pick with a veteran. Can't imagine a better situation for Fernando than being able to pick both Tom and Kirk's brains!
