Xavier Scott being out is pretty significant, but I hope no one reads that and starts to take anything for granted…

what's the story on Moore?
did he keep his eligibility?
@drjb He’s able to play this week. Next hearing is the 24th
@thehoosierhuddle So dumb it has dragged on as long as it has. From my perspective as an IU fan, it's a cut and dry ruling (Pavia being the precedent). It's also not good for our team in the long term...perhaps the NCAA (like the media) doesn't like us being a football school either.
@bcbranimal His case is slightly different than Pavia’s though. This is what the legal system usually does. Kick the can down the road and draw things out. The longer it goes the better for IU. He gets to play.
@thehoosierhuddle I agree on how it's played out in the judicial system...innocent until proven guilty/in violation. And, I'm grateful for the stays/delays on judgement, but at what point does this become a detriment to the team? I hope he plays his best game this Saturday either way. I liked him before he left, was bummed when he left, and really like him now that he came back (without considering his dominance so far this year). I just hope any negative ruling doesn't have the effect I think it will.
@bcbranimal well it’s not innocent until proven guilty in civil court, but I get what you’re saying.
I doubt it’s much of a distraction since everything is done on zoom these days. It’s not like. Moore is missing practice to go to court every week.
Where I think it would hurt is if he ends up losing the case mid season and he can’t play anymore. Sorry that’s kind of a “no, duh” answer.
Moore has played a lot of football so having other players take reps just in case may not actually be very detrimental to him and his development.
