Not bad. And these numbers only includes the 2024 football season.
I'm out of free H-T articles so I can't read the whole thing.
Keep in mind if you pull out the one-time loan from 2024 revenue, 2024 revenue was more like $150M, so in reality revenue is up ~20% year over year.
Also, looking back for context: in FY22 we were in the bottom third of the conference in AD revenue. FY25 we're mid-pack in the conference. And FY26 I'd guess there is a good chance we're top third in the conference.
This is impressive. Transforming an athletic dept like this is very difficult.
Credit to Scott Dolson and IU.
@tammany Based on ticket prices alone for '26, I'd say there's better than an average chance of a huge spike.
@tammany Dolson has earned his due, but so has Whitten. Who knew that all we needed was institutional competency?

I doubt Whitten did anything more than approve of the hire.
This is dead wrong. From prioritizing football, to the $25M loan in FY24 to support the program, along with fundraising, the President caring about football matters. There is a reason Cig mentions her all the time like it or not.
I get some of you don't like Pam and have to bring it up any time she is mentioned here. No one cares. Literally no one cares. This is the IU football forum. A sliver of self control would be nice, but I doubt we'll get it.
@tammany There is NO DOUBT Pam Whitten was essential in turning football around. The other comments on her belong on the Water Cooler and I understand the issues people have with her. However, from a solely football view, she was part of the solution.

Based on what USA Today has been reporting (2024), Indiana had a bigger surplus last year? They will likely have another update in a month or so.

You care enough to respond 😉
it's no different than people bringing up Pam like she had anything to do with choosing Cigs. The only thing she did was support the hire and not get in the way.
If you have no problem with people bringing up how great Pam is, then you should have no problem with the people that think she is white trash. Her role was very minor.
If you didn't care, then you wouldn't have responded 😉
I responded to clarify her important involvement with IUFB. And beyond IUFB it's off-topic for this forum. Heaven forbid you respect the forums.
But please, go ahead and lose your mind over Pam amongst the idiots in the Water Cooler.
