@thehoosierhuddle @tjinman1987 my issue is not that these teams aren’t talked about. My issue is that the list you laid out isn’t really the correct “argument”
you need to include teams that have three games against non P4 opponents every season. That’s the list. I’m willing to bet my house it gets MUCH longer.
because IU is playing 9 power opponents and 3 non, like the large majority of the country.
When the SEC and the rest of the B1G start seeing money left on the table because “strength of schedule” nonsense goes away I bet they start scheduling similarly. With Rev share and the arms race they will all want/need that extra. Maybe the networks start giving some extra cheese for certain cross conference games. Until then it’s stupid AF to go on the road for Strength of schedule. It’s just silly.
@d-b-cooper I also think some of these writers either don’t realize or don’t care that these G5 and FCS teams rely on these buy games to function. Unless the G5 gets a bigger slice of the pie they’ll fold.
@thehoosierhuddle it doesn’t fit the narrative or they just don’t care(or both)
Alabama plays The Citadel seemingly every year. Let's inform the national media of this so they can start writing hate articles about them!
I believe they rotate between Mercer and The Citadel.
