That Indiana’s non-conference scheduling has become a big topic of discussion is hilarious. I guess they’re not irrelevant anymore!

I guarantee that game at UCONN in 2032 never happens.

Spot on.  Regardless of how people feel about SoS (which this game provides no of) and honoring this or that, a home game is $3M+ of revenue, which is a lot.  It's a no-brainer to ditch this game.

I am surprised by the difference in payout for some games. Some teams get $1.3 mill while others get as little as $400K. I guess ISU needs to learn how to negotiate better?

No major pre-conference games until ND, 2030, 2031.

Alabama plays The Citadel seemingly every year. Let's inform the national media of this so they can start writing hate articles about them!

I’m not sure, but it might sort of be based on how good and how big of a program the opponent is.  The more home game revenue a team makes, the more you’ve got to pay them to go on the road.  I’m just eyeballing the cost of various buy games.

I could be wrong.

@tammany -Right, what we pay them to visit vs. what their home take is.

Other teams with no P4 teams in the non-conference slate for the next four seasons:

-Washington (games scheduled against Colorado State, UC Davis, Washington State, Eastern Washington, Fresno State, UNLV for the next four seasons)

-Ole Miss (GA State, Tulane, Washington State, Citadel, Charlotte, Wofford, Oregon State, South Alabama, Alcorn State, Southeast Missouri from now until 2029)

That's it...as far as I can tell. I think IU is scheduling intelligently and I would not do anything differently but I do think criticisms from the national media are somewhat warranted as well.

@tjinman1987 I think people's issue is that these guys don't talk about those teams.

Love that comment - Look at the game before Auburn every year.  Always bye or cupcake
