I was looking at the portal additions for today,I thought it was closed except for the two teams that played last night?
i thought I read that it was open for those two teams for five days but I’ve seen several additions from other teams as well.
@ccmac I believe you just had to have your name in the portal before 1/16, and then you can then sign with a team, until.... you go back to your coach and see if they'll take you back, or? The extra time for the 2 championship participants I think is for the players on those teams to be able to play in the NC game and still declare, like Alberto did. But, any team can sign those players, again for quite some time afterwards, if there is an end.
Portal window is only in regards to players going into the portal. The players in the portal can commit to teams whenever they want. They aren't going to leave players in purgatory just because they didn't commit somewhere by a certain date.

I think they can't decide what year to use because the game happened in 2026 but the football seasons generally go by the year the regular season is played (2025). It's not like basketball where regular season goes into both semesters/years.
Apparently the shirt designers went with the year the season was played.
@ccmac No need to worry if you get 2025 or 2026 on the shirt. We just won the 2025 champ, and Josh Hoosier is about to tag in from Mendoza for the title defense
@hoosierdaddy not really concerned,I’ve seen both years on shirts,etc and during the trophy presentation he said 2026.
