I don't blame them for being pissed they got hosed. Alabama should not be in. That committee screwed up royally in my opinion.

Absolutely not.  And yes, I hate ND, but Bama had either 3 or 4 better wins than anything ND had on their schedule.  The only legit complaint that ND has is how the committee put them in front of Miami all of the way until the end.  That was harsh...and I loved it.

Yeah, ND was one of the top 12 teams in the country. Yeah, they have a case to make about Bama. Yeah, the committee toyed with them by dropping them at the very end and raising Miami up. But when push comes to shove, ND had a schedule that provided minimal opportunities to prove they belonged, and they failed those few opportunities. At any rate, whatever rational arguments might be made in their favor doesn't justify the obscene delusion of their fans:

@gthomas…..It is total BS! They get to keep all of their TV $…stay independent and schedule who they want and then bitch when it doesn’t work out for them. The real reason they are mad is because they didn’t get to pocket the 4 million dollars each team gets for making the playoffs. All the other teams have to share it with the conference members!  After they started 0-2…..I told a friend of mine who is a huge ND fan that I didn’t think they would make it even if they won the last 10 because of how weak the schedule was….he disagreed of course and he is not happy and I’m loving it! 

@thenickeldimer ND has been fleecing college football for decades. One little thing doesn't go their way and they throw a hissy fit. Oh well, without bowl prep on the schedule, Freeman can canoodle with the NY Giants.
