Have they announced who the honorary captain will be? Gotta be Don Fischer, heard he is gonna be in town, 50+ years of mostly bad football that he has been forced to sit thru
I have not seen an announcement. While Don would be a great choice, it would mean someone else would have to call the first few plays.
Anyone but Mellencamp.

Diligence is the mother of good luck. Plough deep while sluggards sleep and you shall have corn to sell and keep. Work as if you were to live 100 years. Pray as if you were to die tomorrow. All progress springs from work. Work has laid the foundation of every fortune in America. – Benjamin Franklin

@busdrivere Agreed, it should be Fisch. Dude is an institution and deserves acknowledgement. I've actually been happy for him for all the recognition he's gotten from the TV broadcasts I've watched. He's been mentioned quite often. His segments on Monday make Coyle tolerable for a few minutes.
DD should be honorary captain so he can learn what winning feels like.

He was an assistant on the 1987 team.
I'm an AT guy.
That man earned his right to represent Indiana University as the Honorary Captain.
His interview a month ago with the Big Ten Network brought a tear to my eye, his love of IU just shines through.
