Oglesby and McDermott are both suppose to come.
We've got a couple other top247 kids coming as well. This is a really good group that is scheduled to come.

would we take both or is this competition to get one of them to pull the trigger? May be getting to the point of how much depth is too much. Of course, in the portal era, that's easy to fix.
In one of the other podcasts , not the Huddle, in the title game wrap up they said we signed a 4* tight end last week, 'more on that later' but then they didn't cover recruiting in that hour long wrap up show. All I can find is Schott. But he's not a '4* tight end' to me, he's a portal guy. And they had said 'recruiting' was improving but must have meant including portal. When they said recruiting and 4* guy I assumed they meant a frosh.
@openwheel - I wonder if it's because he was a 4-star in last year's hs class or if they simply considered him a 4-star as a portal transfer?
I think there is at least one site that give star ratings to portal transfers. I wouldn't be shocked if some just use the player's HS rating in this context. A 4 star HS recruit would still be a 4 star HS recruit when transferring to a new school. They are also purposefully vague so people stay watching for the story.
I remember watching the news back when Miller was on the pacers and the whole show they were like "we have a big story on Miller coming up later" Forget what it was about but it was something really stupid and not at all interesting. I learned a lot about the oversell and under-deliver simply to keep viewers watching.

I'd be shocked if it's not a case that they're to good to pass up no matter how many they want at receiver.
I think we'll get at least 2 receivers in the 27 class (not saying were getting these two, we'll see).... at least that's the sense I get.
@hurryinghoosiers - These guys are ranked where they are because they are great athletes. You take them and if they are as talented as you hope, you find ways to get them PT. Look at Becker....although he was on the depth chart as a WR, he was pretty much a special team's player for most of the season due to his obvious speed and tenacity. Other than DE, we were pretty lucky with injuries this season, but we need to maximize that depth..
@openwheel I think they are referring to Mason Ogelsby, who hasn’t officially signed but is crystal balled to us
As for WR, we had 4 receivers put up big production this year. I’m fine with taking 3 or 4 in a class, especially given that 1 or 2 of them will likely portal out at some point
Sales would be my preference just due to height/size/speed combo. He could realistically play right away, and guys like him who pan out (I.e cam Coleman) cost a fortune to get in the portal if they end up producing

...
Price of Mason may be going up. Visit from Michigan State and a 're-offer' per Mason .

Apparently one of many. Need the Indiana men to see the light, and come to Indiana. Where else?!

Junior Day Visits for tomorrow
One of the most talented groups we've ever had visit at one time.
@openwheel the Hoosier men are ready to defend the title. Starting with Carter smith.
our starting OL next year is basically the same but with Brunner instead of Coogan
Indiana runs college football now. The greatest time to be alive.
@hoosierdaddy I was having a conversation with a non fan (not necessarily a hater), and he asked me what my expectations we’re. My response, we might not be undefeated but I fully anticipate us being right at the top.
He responded that we just couldn’t be that lucky and everything went our way this year. I proceeded to point out that we lost 2 DEs for the year, we lost what was thought of as our #1 RB from the stable, we lost our top WR for weeks, we lost multiple OL for weeks, our AA Lb for a couple of games, and plenty of nicks along the way. We weren’t that lucky and our depth never really get acknowledged because it isn’t always 5 stars.
I then informed him about who we had returning and where we filled the gaps. His eyes got real big and he responded with a “damn, I didn’t know all that”…let’s just get to midnight!
So right. All season any personnel adjustment was akin to hitting the 'refresh' button. Hell of an organization Coach Cignetti has in place for success.
@evillehoosier8 - I truly dont think midnight matters with Cig. He will find a way to replace or adjust for any player. I think hes a wizard...
