@thehoosierhuddle if Illinois does fall out of the rankings, and stays out, does IU even get credit for a ranked win in the end?
No one wants to give us credit for beating Nebraska last year when they were ranked 25th in the coaches poll.
I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Illinois beats USC next week.
@kelly_32 we need Illannoy to beat USC and OSU. It’s their only two shots remaining at legitimacy
If Illinois does falter from here on out it’s because IU broke their will and shattered their confidence. Cignetti seems to do that to teams.
Yeah, I hope UI can recover from this and play well next week. We just beat the heart out of them. Then on the other hand Nebraska came back the next week and took OSU to the wire so maybe UI can. We’ll see how good a coach Brett is.

I’ll be surprised if we move more than Illinois falls. If we have no respect after last year, then we need to just win the whole thing, which is fine with me
Illinois down 14, Indiana up 8. What do I win? Nothing, but still happy with our ranking. How many times in the past 40 years have we been ranked this high? Answer: not many.
