Freshman DL question for Sammy, TJ or anyone else in the know...

Who are the young DL guys from the 2025 Class that the staff thinks will make an impact next season? I know that they really loaded down with D linemen this last class as well. I know that they are redshirting all the Freshman or I'm assuming so. I was hoping to see more of them get in the blowout games for some seasoning. I know there are only so many snaps to go around and I know that linemen need some time to develop, but I was hoping to see some young guy step forward. Thanks for any input!!

Go Hoosiers!!

@82iugrad It's been crazy and can't believe the Peach Bowl is just 2 days away as well. As far as freshmen DL. IU only played Kyler Garcia and Tyrone Burris this season, both kept their RS, so that's big. Quinten Clark played a ton on kick off coverage and when the opponent actually returned the ball he was a force (he could be a piece too)

Keshwan Calhoud and Jhervious Hall are two more that probably needed some development that were highly regarded coming into the year. I believe they have belief in a lot fo these guys, but they are just young and dont want to burn a year if they didnt have to. The DL coming in 2026 are really good too.

@thehoosierhuddle thanks for the info!! I'm trusting that if these young men work hard the staff will get them ready to compete at a very high level. It seems weird to have the "Bob Knight like "confidence in the Football Program that we have right now. You always expected that IU Basketball was going to be good year in and year out under Knight and now I am starting to get the same feeling under Cignetti and it is an awesome feeling for this 66 year old man and 50+ year IU Sports fan!! I appreciate the hard work you all put in to keep us informed!!

If you were ever going to go all-in on an IU football-centric website, this was the year to do it. If you can capture and monetize the IUFB excitement that has exploded over the last couple years you'll be sitting pretty.
