I’m getting a 6’ x 9’ canvas made to hang in the man cave.
@big-ryan I ordered through SIcovers.com also. Something I wanted to share, is that I discovered you can search for older cover prints on there. Their price for a framed copy of the Mendoza leap was like $108, but $25 for the print. I bought it and all 3 bball NC covers from my lifetime, then bought a 4 pack of matted frames off amazon for $34, so I spend $140 and now have all 4 matted and framed. I did have to trim about 3/4" off the sides of 3 of them to fit the frame, but I just used the matte as a template since I knew it fit the frame. The cover is just a flimsy clear plastic, but for the $$ I think they look pretty good. Still trying to decide if they go in the workout room or office, but I am leaving space for 2 more NC pics!
@kkott Nice! I bought the "Great Scott" cover at the same time I bought the Mendoza cover so I'd have the two natties/undefeated seasons as a set, but I like the additional covers you bought, particularly the one with Isaiah. I need to expand my collection!
I remember printing out some SI covers on a good color printer, of AJ Foyt, Bobby Unser, and some other greats.
Had them on my walls in the late 90s. I guess I could afford some actual prints now. LOL I use their covers for computer wallpaper at times. I like their archives, good stuff.
@big-ryan I couldn't remember what the cover was in '87, but assumed it was Smart's jumper or Alford, so that was a bit of a surprise. And, I thought the '81 was Isiah going in for that sweet backhanded layup, but remembered it when I saw it.
