Found this an interesting read. Matt Miller from ESPN is projecting we have 16 guys get drafted... The current record of draft picks in a year is 15 (set by UGA in 2022). Albeit, one of them is Makai Jackson so its really more like 15 given he left the team. Either way, our team this year might send more guys to the NFL than any team in collegiate history. Let the naysayers and doubters keep telling us we dont have the talent to compete!
How would Makai Jackson get drafted.

@openwheel Projected as a 7th round, I would guess the author sees him as a flier pick for a gadget player. I think he needs another year starting (preferably somewhere P4). Outside of him the draft slots seem about right to me
@hoosierdaddy Obviously Cig's put together a team of starters who can compete with anyone. The difference between OSU, UGA, Bama, etc... and us is the depth I think, and that we're still dependent on the portal at the moment. You can see Cig's working to build HS recruiting and I'm confident we'll get there, but at the moment, I think we're thinner behind our starters than the blue bloods.
He could get an invite to a camp. A flyer.
He didn't look all that great to me from his app state highlights, good wheels but just needing polish. I guess the fact that Cig picked him and he did get in a few of the early games, probably he has more potential than I figured.
Be surprised if he doesn't get a little cash somewhere and play another year. I assume he has one more of eligibility.
