I like Thunderstruck, don't get me, wrong, but I think "Kickstart My Heart" by Motley Crue would be better. Great, recognizable guitar right off the bat so everybody knows what's coming. The crowd getting in on the "Whoa Hey"s and everything.
I could go for "Welcome to the Jungle", too.
Who do I talk to about this?
Welcome to the Jungle feels so played out. Might as well just go with YMCA.
If we’re gonna do classic rock/metal I think Thunderstruck is about as good as it gets with the build up and people know the song.
The crowd won’t know Kickstart My Heart very well and they won’t be singing along to it.
@tammany This is a bummer of a review. Also, it's the first time I considered those songs classic rock. That's decidedly more of a bummer. lol I'm 52 - I grew up with classic rock being the 60s and 70s. I gotta adjust.
Who do I talk to about this?
Cignetti, because he was the one that told them/suggested playing Thunderstruck.
I like the Thunderstruck entrance. I just wish they could time up the run out with where it breaks down at "you've been......thunder struck." It's always off.
If we're going make a change though, give me "Stranglehold" by the Nuge. Can run out at any time during that one.
Unchained.

Blind by Korn
I always like the Who’s Baba O’riley
@tmft I was going to post the same thing. Stranglehold is one of, if not of the greatest classic rock guitar riff of all time.
