Shouldnt Michigan settle on who their AD is going to be, first?

I don’t see how UM would have interest in Jeff Fisch and he has already said during the Florida search that he doesn’t want to leave Washington. It would have made a lot more sense to leave for UF considering his ties there. I’m not sure there’s a draw for either side considering JF hasn’t really excelled at UW. He spent two years at UM as OC, but other than that doesn’t really have any strong ties there. I’d be very surprised if that is the hire. The only way I’d pursue him at UM is if all my other targets turned me down because the athletic department is a mess right now. I have the faintest clue who they will hire. Although I’m not a John Gruden fan and don’t think he’s as good of a head coach as he is hyped to be I could see UM going that route to fill the gap while they stabilize their leadership. I’d have a hard time seeing them pull any big name coach in the P4.

It’s Jedd Fisch, not Jeff. Agree that he’d likely want to stay in Seattle, especially given the uncertainty in AA. Not sure if Manual survives, but it doesn’t look like he did anything wrong. They repeatedly lied to him, and it only blew up when she showed up with her lawyers and admitted she’d been untruthful (and showed proof).

Florida being ranked 13th and USC not even getting ANY votes proves people certainly believed Florida was going to better. This would be the most Alabama thing to do before he likely loses to Oklahoma. With an Oklahoma loss, his seat will be firmly hot next season. UM seams to have more patience with coaches than those in the SEC. That may be attractive to him, but with their AD such a mess, he stays, and doesn't get fired.

Lots of injuries on offense for Alabama, especially up front. Even Auburn was able to limit their offense greatly in the Iron Bowl.
