@unclemark you’d think he’d stop with the telltale LOL’s, but he just can’t help it.
@zeke4ahs There is smoke with Deboer and it seems like his tenure at Bama bounces between the Hots eat and safe each game. I know a lot of people are asking "Why would you leave Alabama?" Well, for one it's an odd fit and it is hard being the guy to replace THE GUY. He's a great coach, good dude as welll (at least when when covered him at IU). We'll see what happens next week because some former Bama players in the media are saying he gets fired if he loses to Oklahoma on Friday.
Who could they get that would be an ugrade?@zeke4ahs There is smoke with Deboer and it seems like his tenure at Bama bounces between the Hots eat and safe each game. So then DeBoer basically is forced to leave. He has to say sod off to those type of former players. And talk of getting fired when he is off to a decent start there.
Good job Alabama. Hope you find your pie in the sky dream coach.
Sucks for us, because DeBoer at Michigan would be a long term thorn in our side compared to some others they may end up with.
@bradstevens I don’t know. I don’t agree with their rationale or lack there of.
It's all speculation he would get fired for losing in the 1st round of the playoff. That's still fairly unlikely.
I also don't think he voluntarily quits on Bama. Coaches don't think that way.
We'll see.
@bigmike I think he will be eventually. I have a feeling there are going to be lots of lawsuits, so they are being careful. I can’t imagine he will survive this.
Lane Kiffin, come on down.
Kiffin to Bama before even stepping onto the practice field would be the most Kiffin thing that could happen.
Hope is not optimism, which expects things to turn out well, but something rooted in the conviction that there is good worth working for. - Seamus Heaney, Irish poet and likely Hoosier basketball fan.
POTFB
@hooky I absolutely believe he'd ask LSU for an annulment if Bama became a real option.
Has his agent spoken with anyone?
Hilarious how these coaches contracts keep needing redone after just a year or two.

Jedd Fisch has the best odds right now. But if he says no, I don’t know who UM looks at next…
