I’m starting to believe a portion of IU’s recent success has to do with not having a bunch of idiots running the AD. Sitake’s style of football would give PSU a Iowa level program IF it worked out. Worse than Franklin
Little worried JMU hires one of our guys, but if that doesn’t happen we somehow look to be in the clear. Over a dozen jobs open up and no one wants Haines?

JMU AD knows how to find lower level head coaches that can keep the program humming. Let's hope they go that route instead of Haines or Shanahan.

I think both are aiming for higher level jobs.
They'd have to take a pretty hefty pay cut to take one of those lower level jobs.
@olympian97 Ol Miss did as good a job of picking up the pieces as they could, and I hope their new HC works out, as they deserve it after getting Kiffin'd. But, they also have only themselves to blame. He gave them a great stretch so not sure they can complain too loudly, especially if the new HC works out.
How much smoke you seeing about Sitake to Penn State?
He's the betting favorite, but the markets are only giving him a 33% chance. Brohm is ~25% chance.
Hard to tell what PSU is doing.
Sitake seems like a cool guy and he's been doing great at BYU. He seems like an odd fit at PSU and I'm not sure he's an upgrade on Franklin.
Brohm seems like a better fit and I'd be more worried about him. Of course it's TBD if he'll leave his alma mater.
Brohm wouldn't leave L-ville would he? He's getting whatever he wants in a town that is crazy about that school and where he's royalty.
Hope is not optimism, which expects things to turn out well, but something rooted in the conviction that there is good worth working for. - Seamus Heaney, Irish poet and likely Hoosier basketball fan. POTFB
