I talked to Grandpa Becker at the hotel for a few minutes. When he talked about Charlie, he said something like - He's not what you expect. He's definitely his own person and what you see is what you get.

@hooky I was trying to figure out how some random picture of IU fans that I didn't remember seeing was in my pic album but it was one you'd sent of Grandpa Becker.
Everyone in the foreground (including that long table) was part of the Becker family & friends contingent from Nashville with a few people from Cincy.
The Becker family photo with Grandpa Becker in front. He was so proud. He made sure that I knew Charlies dad was drafted by the Bluejays as a catcher too.

I am pretty sure I saw the family before the Rose Bowl. They all had Becker shirts on. And I still can believe I can write that I saw the Hoosiers at the Rose Bowl and not be lying.
