From Whitten talkn to Mellencamp trying to sing with the players on a questionable sound system, seems kinda akward looking watchn on tv!?
Our guys are great football players, but their singing needs some work.

Saw some comments on Facebook that suggests IU is expecting maybe 40k to attend. We’re planning on going, be interesting to see how it turns out. The Assembly Hall suggestions are driving me nuts, that would automatically cut attendance by more than half.
Looks more like 10-15K from what I see on TV.

I'm a total pussy with cold weather. Props to all that braved it. I still couldn't get a good handle on the crowd, but I'd say now it was around 20K. That's crazy.
That was fine. Hard to balance allowing anyone to attend at Memorial and being freezing vs. capping it at 17K in AH and being warm.
Whatever. On to chapter three.
It's cold as shit and students are probably still hung over in bed. I think it was a good crowd given the circumstances.
It was a short and sweet celebration, so I have no notes (although I wish Mellencamp had stayed home).
Hmm, Dealing with the weather and traffic on 69 to and from Indy with a blizzard on the way, or watch it all on my 85in tv in a nice warm living room!??? My old knees can’t bend in any sort of cold weather, so you know what option I chose!
