until now.
Trip to the dentist's office, physical, ugly, terrible track record there. Not playing well.
Walk out a winner.
Great win.
Now be prepared for the media to pick holes in us all week.
The media can cry all they want, but we're 5-0.
Great day. Gutty iu win and Illinois beats an undefeated ranked USC making last week look even better
Although it happens a lot, I don’t think it happens this time.
Oddly, I think they get credit for grinding one out in a historically tough place to play.
As always, time will tell.
16 - 1 regular season, so far.
I hope Scott got us the right guy.
13Ole Miss beat 4LSU, so I expect the SECSPN to rank them ahead of us even though we won!

My son, who is 16, is a huge IU football fan and I believe he may be building a shrine to Cignetti in his bedroom. I’ve brainwashed him well. He was so confident going into this game and I told him that Iowa plays lights out at home and has upset many ranked teams. I told him not to be surprised if it was a nail biter. He is used to blowout wins and thinks that’s how it works every weekend. This game was a character builder.
Our play calling on 4th down, however, was way too scripted. Why not try a tush push once?
This reminded me of comments Cignetti made in press conferences. He talks all the time about playing 1 play at a time and that if you follow the blueprint, every play is 0-0. If you stick with the plan, you don’t tighten up with the game on the line, while the other team is looking at the scoreboard and their sphincters tighten just a bit.

We’ve played the Iowa role in games like this more times than I care to count…
