As much pain as our basketball has been through the last couple decades AND the pain our football program has been through forever, how lucky are we? Seriously, we had arguably the best coach ever in college basketball for decades. And now, we have the coach that everyone in the country wants and possibly will change the trajectory of IU football forever. Seriously likely we got two iconic coaches in our lifetime. Not many schools can say that!
And only 25 years between them...
Hopefully CDD can have the same effect on the mbb program. The state is ready to partake in the jubilation...
It still feels like a dream tbh. Can’t believe what his teams have achieved the last two seasons. I’m hoping they can add capacity and get 60-70k fans each year down the road. Have to keep the stadium full consistently right now though, and probably upgrade press box first.
The fact that this guy didn’t get a shot before his early 60’s is mind blowing. It really is.
