Based upon the projections you have provided, there could be some very good football games to watch.  Time will tell, but it is a very exciting time to be a Hoosier fan.

I think Penn state will win their last 3 games. The only question is Nebraska, but I don’t think Nebraska is very good. People should not sleep on Penn State. That is still a very talented team that could catch fire at any moment. I’m surprised the interim coach hasn’t fired their OC, but not sure if they have a better option right now. Their OC is hurting them and obviously Jim Knowles isn’t worth the 3 mil they are paying him either, but with a serviceable offense they could be dangerous. Plus, that QB was starting his first game last night. I’m not betting on Penn State, but I just caution people not to sleep on that team. They aren’t the same as Michigan State, Wisconsin, and others. They have talent. As Cig says 98% of the game is between the ears and if they start figuring things out mentally they can play up with IU and OSU.

@olympian97 You make a couple good points, but it’s a different era. PSU lost their starting quarterback for the year. They play and will likely get killed by Ohio State.

While they are talent and COULD be dangerous. I just don’t see it. If they get run out of Columbus, their NFL talent is going to check out and try not to get hurt like Allar.

Ohio State will try to put 50 on Knowles. They won’t hold back.

@olympian97 the PSU coordinator situation is interesting. On both offense and defense the players they have don’t match what the coordinators want to do. They can’t seem to put their ego aside and build around what they have to work with

also interesting PSU is going with kaytron as their lead back.. will be a nice challenge for our run defense

@thehoosierhuddle - I'm not saying you're wrong, but Penn State went into Iowa on Saturday and were able to put up more points in Kinnick than IU was able to do. Sure, they ended up losing by a point, but it was impressive what they were able to do at a very confident and dangerous Iowa.

7pts on a blocked FG takes them down to 17.  We outgained them by almost 75 yards.  K. Allen had a big day running the ball for them, whereas we struggled to run it much.

@yothn Inversely, you can also say Penn State let up 11 more points than IU did. They are going to get their skulls bashed in at Ohio State, losing takes its toll. They all came back to win the Big Ten, Beat OSU and Make a run at a national title all of those, except for Ohio State is off the table and that is only because the game is in 10 days.
