Mike Barwick Jr. has been on the Hoosier train since June 2013. The 6'1" defensive tackle will add both bulk and depth to a very young, but talented defensive line. He was a 3-star prospect according to 247 Sports.
Wes Martin is out of Wes Milton, Ohio and ranked as a 247 Sports 2-Star recruit although their composite rankings have him listed as a 3-star. Martin will add depth and competition to a line that battled injuries the entire 2013 season.
The Ft. Wayne native is a great addition to the Hoosier signing class. He is rated as the 12th best player in Indiana by 247 Sports and is listed as a 3-start prospect by both Rivals.com and 247 Sports.
Indiana beat out fellow Big Ten schools Illinois, Minnesota, and Purdue in the recruitment of Keel. He is ranked by Yahoo Sports as a two star recruit and as a three star player by Scout Inc. In 2012 Keel had 850 yards receiving on just 31 receptions and 10 touchdowns. He was also selected to play in the Rising Seniors Junior All-Star Game.
The Fishers, IN native is a rising-senior wideout who is considered a two-star prospect by 247Sports. In the websites composite rankings he checks in as the 274th ranked receiver nationally as well as the 26th ranked prospect in the state.
The Ohio native is a senior at St. Ignatius in Cleveland and is a 247 composite three-star recruit. He is listed at six feet tall and 195 pounds. Willis ran the forty yard dash in 4.65 seconds and benched 215 pounds. Willis will be joining an already young secondary and should be in line for play time next year. He chose Indiana over the Louisville Cardinals
The staff once again used their relationship with Iowa Western Community College, where they grabbed two players from this year, to snag the 6’5” 325 pound mountain of a man that is DeAndre Herron. While he is a junior college transfer, one can’t help but be excited when that type of size is brought in
Gardner is 6'4" and 320 pounds. He should be able to step in and fill some holes that were on the offensive line due to injuries. He is ranked as a four star recruit by 247's composite rankings.
Fuchs is a 24/7 Composite three-star recruit from Middle Village, New York out of the Milford Academy. Fuchs is ranked as the third best tight end out of prep school and is the fifth highest player in New York State.
Fuchs will have some big shoes to fill, as he will be asked to help try and make up for the loss of senior Ted Bolser. He has great size at 6'6" and excels in both basketball and football.
In regards to the skill positions on offense, the Hoosiers have already secured a commitment from Alexander Diamont, a California signal caller with a bit of a chip on his shoulder, who is seemingly a tireless worker. He also won the Los Angeles Area Player of The Year Award.
