The Indiana Hoosiers will be looking for a new center in 2021 as Harry Crider, who started the entire 2020 season at the position has declared for the 2021 NFL Draft. Crider was a senior and had the option to return if he wanted to. He announced his decision on Twitter on Sunday.

Series History: The Badgers and Hoosiers have played each other 61 times throughout history and things were relatively even between the two…until 2005. Since then, Wisconsin has tortured Indiana and handed them a series of beatdowns that has resulted in ten straight Badger victories. In 2005, Barry Alvarez’s Badgers won 41-24. Bret Bielema took over and things got really ugly: 52-17, 33-3, 55-20, 31-28 (a rare close one), 83-20 in 2010, 59-7 in 2011, 62-14 in 2012, 51-3 in 2013. The only matchup between current head coaches Paul Chryst and Tom Allen was in 2017 and Wisconsin won 45-17.

Series History: Indiana and Maryland have played each other eight times, with six coming in the modern era as Big Ten East foes. The first two meetings occurred in 1934 and 1935, both Indiana victories. Maryland won the first game as a Big Ten rival in 2014, IU won the next two, Maryland won a thrilled in 2017 and Indiana has won the last two games. Both games (2018 and 2019) were very closely contested and Maryland’s offense has been successful against Tom Allen’s defense, scoring 32 and 28 points in the past two matchups and 42 in their 2017 win.

Series History: No major conference football series has been more one-sided than the one between the Ohio State Buckeyes and Indiana Hoosiers. Ohio State is the behemoth of the Big Ten and they have beaten the Indiana Hoosiers 25 straight times. IU last beat OSU in 1988 and the two tied in 1990. This will be the 93rd meeting between Indiana and Ohio State with the Buckeyes winning 75 times, IU winning 12 with five ties mixed in. The Buckeyes won 51-10 last season in Bloomington after a few of the previous games between the two were competitive.

The Hoosiers have a chance to top their College Football Playoff resume as they go head-to-head with the No. 3 team in college football— The Ohio State Buckeyes.
