Indiana’s Week in Review Thus Far:
The Indiana Hoosiers Men’s Soccer Program continues their hot streak, now winning 13 of their 17 games thus far in 2026, with only one of those games resulting in a loss. In a pre-Halloween matchup last Friday, the Hoosiers traveled to Los Angeles to take on a very talented and highly ranked UCLA squad. In many situations, fans would have been happy with a draw, but the Hoosiers ended up winning 3-1 in a masterful performance. Check out Ashton Enlow’s game recap here for the full details of Indiana’s win.
This win was important for Indiana, as it clinched a spot in the upcoming Big Ten Tournament while also giving the Hoosiers the inside track towards hosting every possible match they play in the tournament due to their #1 seeding in the conference. Indiana’s next opponent, however, is not far off. The Michigan State Spartans are 4th in the Big Ten and are just one win off of Indiana’s pace in the conference standings. They also rank 8th overall nationally and are a huge test for the Hoosiers.
The two squads will match up in Bloomington on Wednesday, November 4th at 8:00 PM EST. The game will be shown on Big Ten Network.
Indiana vs. Michigan State Predictions:
Michigan State is having a very impressive season. As I mentioned above, they rank 8th nationally and boast a couple of impressive wins on the season, but Indiana’s resume is much stronger in my opinion. I also believe Indiana has the most talented roster in the country. Combining these two points, I am predicting a win for the Hoosiers, especially being at home. In fact, I will boldly predict a shutout for Indiana as they win 2-0.
Upcoming Indiana Schedule:
After hosting Michigan State, Indiana will take part in the Big Ten Tournament, where there is a good chance they host every possible game in Bloomington so long as they continue to win. Then, the NCAA Tournament will begin, where the Hoosiers will receive a high seed and will likely receive a bye as well.
The ceiling for this team is a National Championship, which would be the program’s 9th overall. At the rate Indiana is going this season, falling short of a semi-final berth would be a bit disappointing. Of course, expect chaos in the NCAA Tournament, but this Indiana team really is a legitimate contender.
