The Indiana Hoosiers have had their bumps and bruises in the season’s first nine weeks in 2026. IU is 8-1 (5-1) so far and was ranked fourth in the first College Football Playoff of ranking of 2026. The Hoosiers made the College Football Playoff the last two seasons and won it all in 2025, going 16-0.
Indiana is one of five Big Ten teams ranked this week. IU is on a bye this week and will play No. 20 USC at home on November 14th.
