It’s finally game week for Indiana football as Hoosier Huddle’s Countdown to Kickoff hits six days. Today we look at second-year receiver Lebron Bond.
Lebron Bond
Height: 5’9”
Weight: 177 pounds
Hometown: Norfolk, Virginia/Maury
Class: 2nd Year
Position: Wide Receiver

Bond, Lebron Bond, got his feet wet in his first season with the Hoosiers in 2025 as he played in 13 of the Hoosiers 16 games. He was in the wide receiver rotation behind three NFL players, but did see the ball come his way at times. He made five catches for 49 yards.
Entering his second year, Bond will again be in the rotation and should see his role on offense increase. He’s had a great fall camp and has shown off his good hands and playmaking abilities. While Tyler Morris will be the starting punt returner, don’t be surprised to see Bond back him up in that role and be the future there.
Indiana is, once again, stacked at receiver and Morris is ahead of Bond in the slot, but his role should increase and he is a candidate to be one of the young breakout players.
The countdown continues each day on Hoosier Huddle until IU kicks off the 2026 season against the North Texas Mean Green!
