2026 Countdown to Indiana Football Kickoff: – 11 Days Nick Marsh
For the first time (I think) in the history of the Hoosier Huddle Countdown to Kickoff, we are profiling a player not named Antwaan Randle El for day 11. This season, we look at incoming transfer wide receiver Nick Marsh, who will be the first Hoosier to don the 11 with the blessing of Randle El. So let’s take a look at one of the most exciting additions to the 2026 Indiana football team.

Hometown: Detroit, Michigan/River Rouge
Class: 3rd Year
Position: Wide Receiver
Wide receiver Nick Marsh was well known to Hoosier fans long before he decided to trade his Spartan Green for Hoosier Crimson. Marsh had faced off against IU twice in 2024 and again in 2025 when Michigan State played Indiana. In both games, he was the Spartans’ best offensive player. In the two games, Marsh made 12 catches for 142 yards and two touchdowns.
With the Spartans Marsh played in 23 games making 100 catches for 1,311 yards and nine touchdowns.
Marsh helps revamp a room that lost three players to the NFL and while he made headlines in spring football for wearing gold cleats to practice, he has fit in seamlessly since.
Marsh fits in well to the role vacated by Elijah Sarratt. He can make the spectacular catch, break tackles for yards after the catch and is a physical blocker in the run game. Teaming Marsh up with Charlie Becker gives Indiana one of the best receiver duos in college football.
Marsh will have the chance to succeed like never before with a quarterback Josh Hoover who can sling it as well as anyone and an offense full of weapons that will not allow defenses to key in on Marsh alone.
