Insights and Observations From Practice 12 of Indiana’s Fall Camp

For the final time in 2026, we can see a fall camp practice. The Hoosiers close the doors and will get into game mode as they wrap up practice session number 12 on Friday morning.

Indiana Practice Basics

• Practice was outside in Memorial Stadium
• There was a crispness early that gave way to the warmth of the late summer sun
• Players were in helmets and shoulder pads.
• Turbo Richard, Amare Ferrell and Drew Evans led the stretch, with Richard giving the pre-practice pep talk.

Indiana Practice Observations

• It seemed to be a fast-tempo practice on Friday. Players and coaches were in and out of drills quickly.
• The focus has shifted from basic fundamentals and individual drills to more unit-and team-oriented drills.
• There is still a focus on doing all the little things correctly (see video below).
