Indiana football has taken great pride in running back depth throughout the Cignetti era. Last season, Roman Hemby and Kaelon Black were key contributors down the stretch for Indiana football. The missing name from this group was Lee Beebe Jr., who suffered a torn ACL in the third game of the season.
Height: 5’10”
Weight: 218 pounds
Hometown: Montgomery, Alabama
Class/Position: Redshirt Senior/ Running Back

Lee Beebe Jr. had a great start to the year last year, totaling 209 yards and one touchdown in just 2.5 games. He did this on an efficient 7.7 yards per carry.
Then Beebe Jr. suffered an ACL tear in the Indiana State game, knocking him out for the season. He watched Indiana win the title from the sidelines.
Before IU, Beebe played three seasons at UAB. His third year was the one that Cignetti took note of, as he ran for 885 yards and seven touchdowns. After that decision, he hit the portal and came to the Hoosiers.
Beebe was also an undervalued recruit out of high school, but had really blossomed into a quality running back.
Indiana Football will look to have a three-headed monster at running back once again this season. It will be Beebe, Turbo Richard, and Khobie Martin who see the bulk of the running back action this season. Assuming Beebe can maintain his health this year, he will be a key contributor to this running back room.
